Fall forrest

Weather has been changing a lot lately here, and fall isn't just upon us, it has gone and taken all of it's wonderful colors with it.
Maybe it was just me, but I think it went so fast that I didn't even get to see the red colors that symbolize the changing of the seasons and I am a little sad about that.
But with all the grey and gloom that is right now, I can look back to late October when I did get to take a walk in the forrest with some fall colors and enjoy.
I hope you will like the pictures too.
A big tree with that I just had to play around with my camera at

I can't really tell what has been written, but I think it is a philosophy on life

My friend and I playing with shadows (I do not think the runner appreciated us)

What better way to end a fall walk that at a forrest restaurant that had its own brewery?
Also I am sorry for having been missing, but sickness kind of took over and I am finally out of the woods (get it? Woods? Haha, I am such a dork sometimes)

Friday Fashion

Well technically this would have been a wednesday wishes list, but I had so much to do this wednesday that the day seemed to disappear along with thursday and therefore I give you friday fashion:

I like the fact that when you are wearing pumps that could show a little skin and it is cold, you can just as easily put a pair of colored tights underneath a pair of skinny pants, add a little color, get some warmth and still look amazing.
Also it is really hard not to love this outfit (at least for me), it is classic and can be worn anywhere.
1. M Missoni - Suede Cross body bag
2. Stella McCartne - Bryce woll and cashmere-blend coat
3. Hue Classec rib thights (Mink color)
4. Juliet & Company - Champagne Pearl stud earrings
5. Ann Taylor - Tie Neck long sleeve blouse
6. Zara - Ponte de Roma skinnies
7. Pelle Moda - Suede T-strap pumps

Giants

This summer while we were on the West Coast we drove down from Oregon to California and instead of taking the boring I5, we decided to take the 101.
On the way down we drove on the Avenue of the Giants and of course walked some trails to get up close and personal with the Redwoods.
Look at just how big these trees are!

Halloween spirit

Aside from scary costumes (which I had to forgo this year), there is one more aspect of Halloween I like.
I adore how you can make "scary cute" cookies.
So here is my Halloween contribution:
They are regular sugar cookies with royal icing in between.

Lunch Pizza Extraordinaire

Sometimes lunch just have to be made special. And nothing is easier or tastier than putting together a pizza made with fresh and healthy ingredients.
We decided to serve our blackcurrant juice in wineglasses giving that special feeling (and almost color) of rosé wine.
Yummy.

It was really easy too.
I took two whole wheat tortillas, added tomato pure as a base. Topped it with parma ham, frech basil and slices of beef mozzarella.
Put them in a preheated oven set to 390 Fahrenheit/200 Celsius until the mozzarella is almost melted (I think this took about 10-15 min).

Don't miss out on fall

I am being really bad these days. Fall has been upon us forever, but because everything is so busy I haven't had time to enjoy it.
My life consists of to-do lists and I usually get done most of what I have on these lists. So in order not to miss fall completely I made a fall to-do list.

Wednesday Wishes

During my break from blogging I was considering not doing my wednesday wishes anymore, but I just love to be able to drool over trends, and pieces that as a student I wouldn't be able to afford yet.
Who doesn't love to dream a little and wednesday wishes is my dream. The dream to dress great and look amazing because designers know what they are doing (most of the time anyway hehe).

So this week I am feeling the coolness of Autumn coming closer and when I saw the huge knit cardigan, I knew that it would be great. However we are not done with summer yet, especially in the Bay Area where I am right now it goes from being cold in the morning, to warm during the day and back to cold.
That is why this outfit is perfect because you can take off the cardigan when it is warm and put it back on when it becomes chilly.
